The Client
Adventure Motor Cars is the largest NAS Defender dealership in the world, specializing in buying, selling, and refurbishing Land Rover Defenders since 2001. Despite their global reputation, their website was quietly costing them — slow load times, unoptimized assets, and missed SEO opportunities were leaving performance on the table.

Their in-house web manager was self-taught and doing his best, but the site had accumulated years of technical debt. The homepage took around 5 seconds to fully load. The inventory page (their most business-critical page) took close to 15 seconds!
They had over 20,000 unoptimized images bloating the site. SEO tooling was absent or misconfigured, and there was no monitoring in place for dead links, indexing issues, or plugin vulnerabilities.
What I Did
Starting with a comprehensive audit, I identified the key issues, prioritized them, and delivered a written plan.
Once engaged, I executed a full technical overhaul, including image optimization across the entire media library, plugin and theme updates, SEO platform configuration, Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools setup, performance caching, metadata improvements across all pages, alt tag implementation, and fixes to broken functional elements like the phone number link.
Last, I spent four hours training their web manager on a repeatable SEO workflow for every new inventory listing going forward. This ensured that the gains would compound over time, not decay.
The Results
The numbers speak for themselves. I optimized 12,321 images — reducing the media library from 35.6GB to 17.5GB, a 51% reduction in image weight. Load times dropped dramatically.
